کوئی آس پاس نہیں رہا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
مجھے اپنا ہاتھ بھی چھو گیا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
کوئی آ کے جیسے چلا گیا کوئی جا کے جیسے گیا نہیں
مجھے اپنا گھر کبھی گھر لگا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
مری بے کلی تھی شگفتگی سو بہار مجھ سے لپٹ گئی
کہا وہم نے کہ یہ کون تھا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
مجھے کب کسی کی امنگ تھی مری اپنے آپ سے جنگ تھی
ہوا جب شکست کا سامنا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
کسی حادثے کی خبر ہوئی تو فضا کی سانس اکھڑ گئی
کوئی اتفاق سے بچ گیا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
ترے ہجر میں خور و خواب کا کئی دن سے ہے یہی سلسلہ
کوئی لقمہ ہاتھ سے گر پڑا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
مرے اختیار کی شدتیں مری دسترس سے نکل گئیں
کبھی تو بھی سامنے آ گیا تو خیال تیری طرف گیا
The English translation of the provided Urdu text is as follows:
“If there’s no one around, thoughts turn to you,
When my hand touched my own, thoughts turned to you.
Someone walked away like someone departed,
When I felt at home, thoughts turned to you.
My solitude was amazed, so spring embraced me,
Wondering who it was, thoughts turned to you.
Longing for someone never came my way,
When my own home felt like home, thoughts turned to you.
I had desires for someone, a battle within myself,
When faced with defeat, thoughts turned to you.
News of an accident made the air stand still,
If someone escaped by chance, thoughts turned to you.
In the absence of your company, days of dreams and longing,
If a morsel slipped from my hand, thoughts turned to you.
The intensities of my control slipped away from my grasp,
When you finally appeared, thoughts turned
to you.”
